3 Grams AI Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of 3 Grams AI, also referred to as 3 Grams AI Weight Estimator (the “App”), provided by RizBit (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, the in-app disclosure, or the Privacy Policy, you should not use the App.

About the App

The app is designed to help users identify and estimate the weight (and possible dimensions) of an object from a photo and optional supporting details. The App allows users to take a photo, choose a photo, optionally enter Object Info, optionally choose or create a reference object, and receive an estimated weight result in a few seconds.

The App currently operates on a FREE plan model, with one or more free credits for new users, and optional paid PREMIUM plans available via paid monthly auto-renewing subscriptions, which provide access to additional features, benefits, or enhanced estimation modes. Availability of features may vary by plan, platform, region, and app version, see store descriptions or website for details.

Important Accuracy Notice

The App makes best attempt to identify an object, provide an approximate weight estimates only and optionally estimates composition or dimensions. Results are generated using a third-party AI service, and the quality, reliability, and consistency of results can vary depending on the model used and the accuracy level set by user.

You understand and agree that results may be affected by many factors, including image quality, lighting, blur, angle, distance, focus, background clutter, object size, object material, camera perspective, the reference object used, and the Object Info you provide.

For best results, the item you want to weigh should be the main, central, clearly visible object in the photo where possible.

If you provide a reference object, it should be accurate, clearly visible, and positioned appropriately in relation to the object to be weighed. A poor or incorrect reference object may reduce the accuracy of the estimate.

If you create your own custom reference object in the App, you are responsible for making sure the weight you enter is correct. If possible, you should use common objects with known weights and place them clearly next to the object in the image.

Not Professional Advice

The App is for general informational and personal convenience purposes only. It must not be relied on as a precise scale or as a substitute for real measurement equipment.

You must not use the App for medical, health, dosing, legal, regulatory, customs, shipping, safety-critical, scientific, engineering, trade, resale, financial, or commercial decisions where accuracy matters.

If you need an accurate measurement, you should use proper weighing equipment.

Third-Party AI Processing

The App uses a third-party AI service/API to analyse submitted images and any optional supporting text in order for object identification and generate a weight / dimension estimates. By using the estimation feature, you acknowledge that your submitted content will be processed through such a service for this purpose.

We may change the AI provider, model, or configuration from time to time. We do not guarantee that any specific provider, model, or accuracy level will always be available.

The App may use different processing modes, limits, or features for free users and Premium subscribers. Availability of any specific feature, performance level, or subscription benefit is not guaranteed and may change over time. In order to prevent overloading of servers we ask all users to wait a small amount of time between each new Object Analysis request.

Eligibility and Age

The App is not intended for children and is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should only use the App with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. If you are not old enough to consent to online services in your country, you should not use the App.

No account creation is currently needed.

Permissions and User Responsibility

You may use the App to take photos using your device camera or to select images from your device. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use, upload, and submit any image, text, or other content you provide through the App.

You must not upload content that you do not own, do not have permission to use, or that infringes another person’s rights, including privacy, copyright, trademark, or other legal rights.

We do not pre-screen, review, or moderate User Content. If you use third-party images, logos, or brands, you are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission to use them and for complying with any licence terms.

If the App offers a rating, feedback, or report feature, you are responsible for any comments, images, or other material you choose to submit through that feature. You must not submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, misleading, offensive, or privacy-invasive material.

Feedback and Reports

The App may allow you to rate an object analysis result and, in some cases, submit a report if you believe a result is inaccurate or poor. Reports may include a star rating, optional comments, related analysis / weight estimation details, and an optional thumbnail image (which was uploaded for the estimation).  Any image uploaded will be stored on our server until we process the report.

By submitting feedback or a report, you confirm that any information, comments, or optional images you upload are lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and do not infringe any person’s rights, including privacy, copyright, or other legal rights.

We may use ratings, reports, and optional report images to review issues, investigate inaccurate results, improve the App, improve analysis & weight estimation features, support internal analysis, and develop future product improvements.

You should not include unnecessary personal information in feedback comments or attached images.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App lawfully, respectfully, and only for its intended purpose.

You must not:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate images or text.
  • Use the App to process content involving abuse, violence, self-harm promotion, or unlawful activity.
  • Submit misleading, malicious, excessively long, spammy, or deliberately manipulative Object Info.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, overload, scrape, or misuse the App, server, advertising systems, credit system, subscription systems, or related infrastructure.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, cooldowns, rewarded ad rules, daily free credit limits, subscription checks, purchase validation, or other usage controls.
  • Use techniques intended to reset, duplicate, fake, or improperly increase daily free credits, rewarded credits, subscription entitlements, or other in-app usage allowances.
  • Use bots, scripts, emulators, automation, modified clients, or similar tools to abuse the App or its services.

Object Info and Photo Guidelines

You should keep Object Info short, relevant, and clean. Object Info should be limited to what helps identify the object to be weighed and should not include unnecessary personal, offensive, or unrelated content.

You should review the App’s photo guidelines before using the estimation feature. Clear, focused, well-lit images with the intended object centred are more likely to produce a better result.

Credits, Free Use, Rewarded Ads, and Premium Features

The App may provide you with one or more free credits after first launch. Credits are used to perform object analysis and estimation requests. Once your available credits have been used, you may be able to watch a rewarded ad in order to receive an additional credit, subject to availability and any limits we apply.

We may change credit allocations, cooldown periods, ad-supported access, rewarded ad availability, free feature limits, or other usage limits at any time to operate, improve, secure, or monetise the App.

Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be modified, limited, reset, or removed by us where reasonably necessary, including for abuse prevention, security, operational reasons, product changes, or feature updates.

If your Premium subscription is cancelled (by you or by us) or expires without renewal, any remaining premium credits will be forfeited and your credit balance will be reset to the standard free allowance. You will retain access to any analysis results made during your subscription (such as object analysis history), but premium features will no longer be available.

Premium features, paid plans, or subscription benefits may change from time to time. We may add, remove, replace, or modify Premium features, provided this is permitted by applicable law and platform rules.

Subscriptions and Billing

The App may offer optional auto-renewing Premium monthly subscriptions, through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store account or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, or as otherwise stated by the relevant app store.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting or uninstalling the App does not cancel an active subscription.

If you cancel, your subscription will usually remain active until the end of the current paid billing period, and renewal will then stop.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue subscription plans, pricing, benefits, trial offers, eligibility, or feature availability for new users, future subscribers, or future billing periods to the extent permitted by law and platform rules.

Any free trial, introductory offer, promotional pricing, or discounted period will be subject to the specific terms presented to you at the time of the offer.

Restoring Purchases

Where supported, previously purchased subscriptions may be restored on the same platform account using the App’s restore purchases function. We do not guarantee restoration where the purchase was made under a different platform account, where the relevant store does not return the entitlement, or where restoration is otherwise outside our control.

Refunds

Payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google, not directly by us. Refund requests, billing disputes, and payment issues must generally be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their policies and any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Advertising

The App may display in-house promotional ads, app open ads, interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads. Some advertising may be provided through Google AdMob or related services, and ad personalisation may depend on your consent choices, region, and platform settings.

You understand that some App features, including rewarded credits, may depend on the proper loading and completion of ads. We do not guarantee that ads will always be available.

Analytics and Conversion Tracking

The App uses Firebase services, including Firebase Analytics, to measure limited app events such as first app open for attribution and conversion tracking in connection with Google Ads. We do not use this setup to identify you personally, and we do not separately store this event data ourselves for our own independent records.

Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process data, including uploaded images, Object Info, device identifiers, IP addresses, subscription-related data, ad-related processing, limited analytics and conversion tracking, and temporary storage used to operate the App. You should read the Privacy Policy together with these Terms.

Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, with or without notice, including features, AI providers, estimation methods, reference object options, credit allocations, ad formats, analytics integrations, supported platforms, Premium features, or subscription offerings.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, operating system version, or network connection.

Abuse Prevention and Enforcement

To protect the App and other users, we may apply technical and operational safeguards such as device-based controls, rate limiting, cooldowns, request validation, purchase validation, entitlement checks, and abuse monitoring.

If we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the App, manipulated the credit system, attempted to abuse subscriptions or purchases, submitted inappropriate content, or otherwise attempted to abuse the service, we may suspend or restrict your access to some or all App features.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its branding, design, software, text, layout, and original content provided by us, is owned by or licensed to RizBit and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the App or any of our intellectual property.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no guarantees or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, fitness for purpose, reliability, availability, suitability, or commercial usefulness of the App or any estimation result.

Because the App relies on third-party AI and supporting infrastructure, including app store billing systems, analytics tools, and advertising providers, results and service availability may vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RizBit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or decisions made based on App results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the App or parts of it where reasonably necessary for legal, security, operational, abuse-prevention, subscription-enforcement, or payment-validation reasons.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be made available through our website, app listing, or another appropriate location. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
